Our Oldham County Fair Pageants are a preliminary for the Miss Kentucky County Fair

Pageant and the Little Miss and Mister Pageant. Little Miss and Mister winners compete

during Opening Day at the Kentucky State Fair in August. Pre-Teen and Teen winners

compete during the Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse Shows Fall Meeting in

Louisville, Kentucky during October. Miss Oldham County Fair competes for the title of

Miss Kentucky County Fair during the during Kentucky Association of Fairs and Horse

Shows Annual Convention in January.


Oldham County is also so lucky to award Local Titles in our Pre-Teen, Teen, and Miss

categories to the highest scoring Oldham County resident. These winners go on to

represent Oldham County throughout their year of reign and are also serve as

representatives during the Fair.

All entry fee payments MUST be paid online HERE on this site. Registration closes July 28, 2024.


Updated Divisions:

  • Tiny Tots (0-4 years old)
  • Little Miss and Mister (must be 5 years of age on June 30, and cannot be 8 on June 30)
  • Pre-Teen* (must be 8 years of age on June 30, and cannot be 13 on October 31)
  • Teen* (must be 13 years of age on October 31, and cannot be 16 on October 31)
  • Miss* (must be 16 years of age on October 31, and cannot be 22 on October 31)
  • Oldham County Stars Showcase (open to any individual with disabilities)

*Age category that awards an overall and local title. The local winner IS eligible to win

the overall title OR place for the overall title.


2024 Schedule of Events:


Saturday July 27th Optional Practice from 10am-1pm (Pre-Teen, Teen and Miss only)


  • Miss/Teen/Pre-Teen: Doors Open at 5 (DO NOT SHOW UP ANY EARLIER-YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE FAIRGROUNDS) interviews at 6pm; Onstage to begin at 7pm.


  • Miss and Teen Pageant 7/30


  • Pre-Teen Pageant 8/1


  • Little Miss and Mister and Tiny Tots: Doors/check-in open at 5:30, On stage Portion begins at 6:30. All contestants must be checked in prior to the on-stage portion beginning.
